Christina Bell M.A., B.A Hons, Dip Ed.
After
teaching at universities and secondary schools in Australia, Italy
and England, Christina worked in industrial relations and advocacy
in the education sector. Since 1992 Christina has been the Director
of People Matters Pty Ltd. Her work in management and staff development,
strategic planning, coaching and mediation includes projects in
the public and private sectors as well as the not for profit sector.
Christina has published a number of articles dealing with the
development of leaders in the workplace. She is a member of the
panel of providers for the Public Sector Management Course in South
Australia and a member of the Executive Coaching Panels for RMIT
University and the Department of Sustainability and Environment.
Christina has been a moderator of the Myer Foundation's Cranlana
Programme since 1998.
In her work Christina uses tools such as the Zing, Myers-Briggs
Type Indicator, the Expanded Inventory Report, Benchmarks 360º
Feedback and de Bono's creative thinking tools. She is at present
completing the additional study required to become a registered
psychologist. In addition to her role with People Matters, Christina
is an associate of Telos Partners.
Christina believes passionately that given the right encouragement
and support people can make creative, positive changes to their
own lives and to the organisations for which they work.
Bill Ford B.A., FCPA
Bill has worked as a senior manager and executive in finance and
administration and trading in a variety of organisations in the
commercial and welfare sectors in Australia and Korea for over forty
years, spending considerable time as an executive in such organisations
as the Brotherhood of St.Laurence, Melbourne Citymission, Victorian
Deaf Society, Brown and Dureau, Nylex Corporation, Shell Company.
He has been an active consultant with People Matters since 2001
where he has applied his broad business experience in executive
and management coaching and in developing and improving financial
systems for organisations and individuals. He believes that finance
and accounting must be understandable and without mystique for all
people involved, not just the accountants.
His community work currently includes being Treasurer of Melbourne
PC User Group, a Board member of a community health centre, Chairman
of Victorian Jazz Archive. In the past he has been Chair of the
Telecom Regional Consumer Council, Chair of the Victorian Consumer
Affairs Committee, advising the Minister, a member of the Board
of Hanover Welfare Services and a member of a number of consultative
committees to the Victorian Department of Human Services and its
antecedents. Bill is also reasonably fluent in the Korean language.
